From the Principal’s Desk…

Dear Parents,

We spent some of our time at school this week talking about the arrival of Pope Francis into the United States. We took class pictures with Flat Francis which is a picture of the Pope that can be seen all around the world. The pictures we took will be sent to the Pope via the Catholic Extension office. It is a great way to share in the excitement of the wonderful event going on in our country.

Parent teacher conferences start tonight. We are very excited and have been preparing for your arrival. Please do your best to be on time to your conference in order for us to keep to the times in which have been scheduled. This is such an important part of the education of your child(ren) for there to be open communication between the teacher and parent, so thank you for taking the time to come.

There was such an interest for another shirt order that I have decided to do one more. This will be the last order we do this school year so please be sure to get the items you need. The orders will be due on Friday, October 2nd and will not be taken after that day.

The first home game for girls volleyball was a success. Thank you to all the volunteers who came and helped out at the event. Thank you to the Home and School Association for setting this up and running the event. Congrats to the students on the team as it was a packed house and so fun to see such excitement going on at the school.

Please feel free to stop in and see me if there is anything you are wanting to communicate with me during parent teacher conferences. I am blessed to get to work with your child(ren) each and every day.

Sincerely in Christ,

Mrs. Leah Bethune
