Fr. Schweiger   provided updates on our new spiritual home.  He stated that the altar design is close to being finalized.  And the “free” windows that we got from Nebraska City will cost $5000 to $6000 to remove, clean, repair and install.  And he mentioned the potential of a St. Patrick window and a Holy Family window from a parish in Omaha.  He also requested assistance with the pew project.

Commission reports were given from the leaders present.  Eileen requested volunteers for church-cleaning leaders.   Debbie stated that we will have at least 17 new senators after the election due to term limits and she requested that we all vote next week.

Old business was presented to the members. Current Best Choice label count of 1740 labels was shared.  And a sign-up sheet for the Carnation Sale for Mother’s Day was passed around.

New business was also discussed.  2 new co-chairs to organize the funeral dinners have come forward.  And the plan to clean the rectory on Saturday, June 14th, was discussed.  Also the need to plan something for Fr. Marneni’s reassignment was mentioned.

A motion was forwarded and passed to purchase a Memorial Brick for the new church in honor of Sr. Carol’s years of service to the school as the principal for the last 16 years.

A $25 donation was given to the Retreat House for use of their space.
