Opening Prayer/Spiritual Reflection: Carol Fraas led us in the Vincentian opening prayer. She then read from Memorial of the Beatification of Frederic Ozanam. It was from the Homily of Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, Archbishop of Paris. It was fitting that the Beatification occurred during World Youth Days in Paris because that is where Frederic devoted his strength, teaching and bearing witness among the young to the power of the Gospel.
Minutes from Meeting: Minutes from January 28th were approved as written.
Treasurers Report: Jackie Bosn, Treas. presented the beginning balance was $16,624.71. We had $-7.38 in client aid and $130.01 in receipts for our ending balance of $16,862.10.
Membership Report: 15 members were present and ?? service hours were recorded.
Parish Council Meeting Report: Meeting of February 17th; Betty Zierke will lead a Bible study during lent in Wednesday’s after the stations, all are invited. Cleanup in the old church went much quicker than expected. Thanks to all who helped. There are 25 registered for kindergarten next year. SVdP will receive the Ash Wednesday collection.
Other business: Mike handed out notes from the Council meeting. We have had several furniture calls this month. Our new garage should be completed by spring 2016. Till then we will need to find other sources for furniture. We may be able to use the trailer after we move into the new church.
Next scheduled calls to be taken are: Monday, March 9th (), Tuesday, March10th () and Thursday, March 12th (l).
