Pro-life Education Series presentation with Fr. Sean Kilcawley!
”Purity of heart and the dignity of the person”
Jesus reminds us that the pure of heart will see God. Each of us is called to have God-vision—to see God in the world and especially in each person we encounter. However, this vision is impeded in our modern world. Pope Benedict once said that the eclipse of God is linked to both the spread of ideologies contrary to the family and the degradation of sexual ethics. Being Pro-life means advocating for a renewed vision and fighting against anything that threatens an authentic vision of God and the human person. In this talk, Fr. Sean Kilcawley will speak specifically about how the pro-life movement and the freedom from pornography movement overlap in promoting God-vision in a world which so desperately needs it.
Fr. Kilcawley is Director of Office for Family Life in Diocese of Lincoln. He has focused his efforts on diocesan initiatives to prevent early exposure to pornography, and resources of intervention and healing for those affected by pornography. He is certified as a Pastoral Sexual Addiction Practitioner through the international Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals. He is a much-in-demand, nationally-recognized speaker.
